Room-specific reset

A 10-minute kitchen reset

The kitchen resets faster than it looks, if you work the sink, counters, and table in that order, not all three at once.

By the Tidy Buddy team · Updated

1. Clear the sink first

Everything else in the kitchen looks worse when the sink is full. Clearing it first changes how the whole room feels, even before anything else is touched.

2. Wipe one counter, not all of them

Choose the counter you'll actually use next — near the stove or the coffee maker — rather than trying to clear every surface in the room.

3. Clear the table last

Move papers, mail, and stray items into one basket rather than sorting them now. Sorting can wait; clearing the surface can't.

Make it fit you

This is the same logic as the full five-minute reset, sized for the room that resets fastest.
